Joey has been moved from the acute-care hospital to the rehabiliation hospital in Jacksonville, Fl, again. He is learning how to get in and out of bed and his wheelchair without putting any weight on his legs or too much pressure on his hips.
We, were unable to get to see him this trip. He sounds happy to be at rehab. and is making good gains. He is having trouble not putting weight on his legs and hips. If anyone sends him a note or calls, let him know. How grown-up and foused no getting well it is to follow the weight recommended by the therapist and Doctors. I know how hard it can be for someone who can't feel the damage they are doing .especally children who have to give up a grown up skill.

Thanks for the update. Poor Joey is having such a hard time. He is in my prayers everyday. I hope he is healed soon.
