For the past week or so, I've been seeing coyotes closer and closer to my property. There was a coyote attack on a dog only a few blocks from me about 2 weeks ago. I got a picture of one of them today. I have been going outside with the dogs now because these damn things move and attack in packs. There was an attack on a 90 pound Chow about a month ago not far from here! If they'll go after a Chow, they won't hesitate to go after Cookie Boy, who looks pretty much like a black rabbit.
Carl asked why I reached for the Canon instead of the Smith & Wesson. I had no intelligent response to that except I wasn't thinking straight, I guess.

Who thinks at a time like that?
So what. Did you all get eaten by coyotes. Is that why we haven't heard from you?
