Busy Week

This week has been very busy. Samantha has been working with me at the shop. I am training her to do the office work and she is helping with an inventory database I've been trying to develop. It has been really fun, actually. She is a bright girl who wants to have her own restaurant or franchise someday. I'm almost done with the design phase of the database and maybe she will start entering data today. It will be nice to have all this info organized at my fingertips instead of scattered all over random filing cabinets! Now, if she would stop eating my lunch and keeping the change when I send her out for lunch! I got her back yesterday, though, when she brought peanut butter on graham crackers....mmmmmm! I ate half of them.

I must admit that the 4th of July was kind of sad for me in a way. It was fantastic to spend time with the family that did come, but I couldn't help missing those that could not. Cousin Rick Budnick has cancer pretty badly, so that was pretty sad to see, too. On a positive note, Ben and the dogs had a great time. Also, I was able to gather a LOT of greetings for my special, secret project and it turned out AWESOME!!!!!
