Joey is gonna be in the hospital for a looongg time and his recovery will be very difficult. He has been pretty down lately, so I thought it'd be nice to make a Get Well Wishes Scrapbook for him to keep at his bedside while he's in the hospital. I want it to be a surprise.
I'd like your help, please. I'd like the scrapbook to have messages from as many people as humanly possible. When people come on the 4th, I have plans to have them write their messages on scrapbook paper and I'm gonna take pictures, too, and mount it all together onto pages for the scrapbook. I want to make a book that Joey can keep by his bedside and look at whenever he needs a little encouragement and good cheer.
Those of you who can't be here the 4th, would you please write a message for Joey on a piece of paper (smaller than 8 1/2 X 11 construction paper would be great) and send it to my house? Messages from the kids in their own handwriting would be really cute, too. Maybe have them draw him a little picture. Or even do a card and sign it and I can mount that, too. Whatever you think would send Joey some love and cheer and would be fairly easy to mount in an 8 1/2 X 11 page. It'd be awesome, too, if you could email recent photos of yourselves and the kids to me at carylvit@yahoo.com.
I want to have this project done and in the mail by July 7th. I know it's kinda short notice, but I really want this to get to him just as he's checking into the rehabilation hospital.
