Joey Got Out of Bed
Joey has been getting out of bed with the therapists and doing some weight-bearing and walking in the hallway at the hospital. Hopefully, he will be well enough in a few days to transfer to the rehabilitation hospital. They have his pain under control much better now. His spirits have lifted quite a bit.

I'm so glad that Joey is doing better. I hope he will be transferred to rehab soon. How are Denise adn Larry holding up?
as best they can, I guess. I think Susie being down there is going to help Denise quite a bit and their Mom managed to make a trip down there for a few days last week.
Spoke to Joey on the phone for awhile this morning and, although tired and on pain meds, he sounds in a bit better spirits. Susie was there and they were watching Rachel Ray. I had no idea Joey was such a fan of cooking, but apparently he is. Such a sweet boy. He says he may be discharged from Gainesville next week, but he's not too excited because he's just going to another hospital anyway. Poor baby...he has such a loooonggg, looonggg road ahead of him. But, I really feel the Holy Spirit telling me that Joey is turning the corner and on his way to recovery and that he will have an amazing praise report someday soon.
